The Chrysalis BREW Project has announced the winners of the BREW Children’s Book Excellence Award 2026, recognising four children’s books across travel fiction, picture books, fantasy and bilingual literature.
The 2026 recipients are:

Journey to Superhero School by Gracie Dix follows young siblings discovering their unusual abilities and learning to manage the challenges that come with them, combining fantasy and family-centred storytelling.
Mar Andersons’s Pablo receives recognition in the Bilingual Children’s Literature category for its focus on language, culture and connections between different communities through children’s storytelling.
